Under and by virtue of an order of the District Court of Warren County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled COUNTY OF WARREN vs. The HEIRS, ASSIGNS and DEVISEES of CALEDONIA CARTER and spouse, if any, which may include The HEIRS, ASSIGNS and DEVISEES of WILLIE HERBERT CARTER and spouse, if any, CALEDONIA CHRISTEEN CARTER and spouse, if any, WESLEY HAWKINS CARTER and spouse, if any, IRA CARTER and spouse, if any, DOROTHY CARTER and spouse, if any, The HEIRS, ASSIGNS and DEVISEES of MARIE CARTER and spouse, if any, The HEIRS, ASSIGNS and DEVISEES of GWENDOLYN C. CARTER and spouse, if any, or any other person or entity claiming thereunder, et al, 07-CVD-238, the undersigned Commissioner will on the 27th day of February, 2020, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction at the courthouse door in Warren County, North Carolina, Warrenton, North Carolina at 12:00 o'clock, noon, the following described real property, lying and being in Warrenton Township, State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows: All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situate in Warrenton Township, Warren County, North Carolina and more particularly described as follows: TRACT NO. I: Being part of the land of which Ferry Cook died seized and possessed, located in above County, adjoining lands of Alston and others, and bounded as follows: BEGINNING at an iron stake, corner with the Old Warrenton Cemetery Lot, and running thence South 77 3/4 W. two hundred and thirty-five (235) feet along Jackson's line to a Stake, corner in Morton's line; thence N. 20 W. four hundred and sixty-two (462) feet to an Iron Stake, corner for said Fannie Cook; thence with Fannie Cook North 77 3/4 East two hundred and thirty-five feet to an iron stake in Alston's line; thence South 20 East four hundred and sixty-two (462) feet along the line of said John Alston and the Old Cemetery Line to the beginning, containing two and one-half (2 ∏) acres, more or less. Subject to restrictive covenants and easements of record. TRACT NO. 2: BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of the Cemetery Lot which was given to the Town of Warrenton by William Plummer and running thence North along said Cemetery Lot line a distance of four hundred and twelve (412) feet and six (6) inches to the Northwest corner of the said Cemetery Lot; thence South 76 West four hundred and seventy (470) feet along John Alston's line to a stone; thence South 20 East along the line of H.A. Moseley a distance of four hundred and sixty-two (462) feet to the Jackson line; thence along the Jackson line North 77 3/4 East a distance of four hundred and seventy (470) feet to the beginning, containing four and one-half (4 ∏) acres, more or less, and being the same land which was conveyed by Sarah B. Cawthorne, Executrix, to the Corporation of Warrenton by deed dated May 1st., 1877, and registered in the office of the Register of Deeds for said Warren County in Book 40, page 445.
