The Warren Record Newspaper in Education Literacy Program offers a new, exciting eight-week serial story "Hurricane," written by Eric Douglas and presented by the American Press Institute.
This riveting story follows two sisters, Jayne and Marie, their parents, and friends as a Category 1 storm makes landfall along our North Carolina coast.
Follow along as the story ebbs and flows from the preparations before the storm, through the high-tide moments during the storm, and finally, the aftermath left in the storm's wake.
The serial story, presented in print edition, begins Sept.11 and runs through Oct. 30.
