Ronald Wilson “Ron” Riggan, 68, of Macon went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 11, at his home. The Rev. Bobby Harrell will conduct funeral services at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, at Macon Baptist Church with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Riggan was born in Warren County to the late Edward Earl Riggan, Sr. and Katherine Wilson “Kate” Riggan.
Ron was a member of Macon Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon, and was also a member of the Warrenton Lions Club. He was a dedicated ECU fan and truly loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Ann Branch Riggan; his daughters, Joy R. Leonard and husband, Matt, of Goldsboro, and Cassandra Jarrell of Macon; his siblings, Earl Riggan, Jr. (Kathy) and Joan Daniels (Terry), all of Florence, S.C., Lois Marsh (Ed) of Newark, Del., Glenn Riggan (Susan) of Macon and Phyllis Carter (Mike) of the Outer Banks; and his grandchildren, Anna Kate, Michael, Troyce, Alysha and Vincent.
