Keith Person, 50, was called home on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church in the Inez community by the Rev. Roy C. Alston, officiating, eulogist. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Person, son of the late Kenneth and Bessie Person, was born May 4, 1968, in Paterson, N.J.

Keith graduated from Warren County High School in Warrenton and pursued a career as a brick mason.

He married Shelia Branch, and they were blessed with one daughter, Jakeia Person.

Keith enjoyed hunting and dancing.  He was the life of the party.  

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Shelia Branch; one daughter, Jakeia Person (Percy Cooke, Sr.); two grandchildren, Amia and Percy, Jr.; two sisters, Keania Hargrove (Kimmie) and Karen Person (Bartlett); his maternal grandfather and grandmother, William S. Alston (Pat) and Mattie Alston; one very special aunt, Wilhelmina Robinson; his father- and mother-in-law, Johnny and Cora Bell Branch; two sisters-in-law, Lisa Branch and Jacqueline Vine (Tony); one niece, Brianna Perry; three nephews, Dwight Hunt, Kimmie Hargrove and Kamryn Hargrove; four nieces-in-law, Destiny Williams, Treva Vines, Jasnaya Branch and Jacayla Branch; three nephews-in-law, Tony Vines, Jr., Clinton Branch, Jr. and Clinton Branch; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Members of the Park Town Hunting Club were pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Leonard Crews, Raymond Alston, Frank Alston and Leonard Williams. Floral bearers were Beatrice Hinton, Casey Milam, Janette Elps and Lucille Hunt.
