Jeremy Michael Solomon, 30, died Saturday, Sept. 29, in Warren County. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Walnut Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Eric Evans, pastor. Burial was in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Solomon, son of Karon McCrae Solomon and Stantina Vernee Bullock, was born in Durham on Nov. 15, 1987.

Jeremy was educated in Nash County public schools and employed at Clayton Homes.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas Solomon, Sr., and Carrie Solomon Perry; his maternal grandparents, Millard Richardson and Ernestine Richardson; two uncles, Thomas Solomon, Jr. and Michael Solomon; one aunt, Lola Allen; and a special cousin, Nicholas Allen.

He is survived by three children, Janiya Solomon, Emery Malia Harvey and Jeremy Michael Solomon, Jr.; his parents, Karon Solomon and Stantina Bullock; one brother, Garre’ Ke’Keith Evans; one sister/best friend, Bria Tenell Henderson (Chris); his stepmother, Felcia Solomon; four stepsiblings, Shantia Howard, Ernest Howard, Sherayle Thames and Shequilla Thames; one godsister, Jersey Grant; his paternal grandfather, Claude Stanley Evans; eight uncles, Donnie Solomon (Marie), Jackie Solomon (Linda), Curtis Evans (Quinceanne), Michael S. Richardson, William A. Richardson, Troy V. Richardson (Penni), Jacob Evans and Calvin Allen; five aunts, Jacqueline Lemay (James), Teneka Harrison (Andre), Tabatha Gainey, Skylar Evans and Antoinette Solomon; a special father figure, Sonny R. Durham; his honorary grandparents, Farrah Grant and Regina Grant; loving nieces, Sameri, Aaliyah, Serenity, MaKenzy, Aziyah, Ziyonna, Mylea and  Destiny; loving nephews, Cameron, C.A. and Eli; special cousins/friends, Tempest Rudd, Lucas Durham and Isaac Alston; best friends, Reginald Bess, Eric Bradley, Kevin Woodard and Daniel Hargrove; special friends, Christina Richardson, Kiara Harvey and Carolyn “Cee Cee” Green; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Corey Harvey, Donnell Hargrove, Watuska Richardson, Garrett T. Hendrick, Justin Richardson, Timothy Harris and Wayne Williams.
