Jack Paschall, Jr., 77, of Norlina, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, May 5, at the Durham Veterans Administration Hospital. Rev. Ricky Lamm will conduct graveside services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, at Wise Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Paschall was born in Warren County to the late Walter Jackson Paschall and Nannie Felts Paschall. Jack was also preceded in death by his brother, William C. Pashall; a sister, Mary P. Rivers; and his longtime companion, Willie Mae Wray.
Mr. Paschall honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a member of Wise Baptist Church and was a soil test driller for S.M.&E.
He is survived by a sister, Joyce P. Stinnet; his nephews, Charles Rivers and wife, Linda, and James Earley and wife, Teresa; his great-nephew, Tyler Earley; special “daughter,” Carolyn Hudgins and husband, Mike; his grandchildren, Maria Wright and Joshua Hudgins; his great-grandchildren, M.J. Wright, Jace Hudgins and Iris Hudgins; and his longtime special friend, Calvin Hargrove.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home in Warrenton. Online condolences may be made at blaylockfh.com.
